Our Bedrooms

Bramblewood Cottage has five en-suite rooms (2 with a bath and shower), 5 doubles (2 with King size beds/1 with superking size bed) and one twin. The twin/Superking is on the ground floor for easy access. All of our bedrooms are of a high standard.

All rooms are centrally heated with personal controls and are equipped with digital freeview flat-screen televisions, clock radio, hairdryer, USB sockets, wine glasses, good quality toiletries, hospitality tray (stocked with Fairtrade products) and complimentary mineral water on arrival.

Please let us know if you have a celebration as we can arrange flowers, champagne, wine, chocolates or helium balloon to suit any budget.

If you fancy something a little bit special then why not book our superior double room with a large bay window giving magnificent views over Fitz Park, Latrigg and Skiddaw Fells, the Park and River. The room has a king size bed, complimentary mineral water on arrival and wine glasses.

This room has both a bath and shower en-suite – ideal after a long day walking, shopping or sightseeing – we even supply you with bubble-bath and luxury Eygyption Cotton bath sheets.

The Lounge

We have a bright and comfortable guest lounge where you can read a book or magazine, play games or just relax on the comfortable sofa and chairs.

A relaxing and comfortable environment for anyone just wanting a bit of relaxation time.  There is a variety of books and magazines for all to use.

Dining Room

Our dining room is light and airy, your day will start with a hearty breakfast (we have been awarded an Enjoy England Breakfast Award and will be cooked individually to order served between 8:30 and 9:15. You can make your choice each morning from Bramblewood’s breakfast menu which offers a wide selection to suit all appetites (breakfast is cooked to order).

Vegetarians are also catered for, all our food is cooked separately so there is no contact with meat at any stage. We also provide gluten/wheat free sausages, cereal and bread. Please let us know when booking if you have any special dietary requirements  As far as possible, all our fresh produce comes from local sources and all our meat products are from our local butcher. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements and we will try our best to accommodate them.

If you don’t feel like a cooked breakfast why not choose from our range of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts and pastries. Alternatively why not treat yourself to one of our specials including smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
